Zerust® VCI (Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor) envelopes provide cost-effective and versatile protection against corrosion damage for music strings in shipping, storage, and at point-of-sale. VCI envelopes are available in almost any color paper and plastic and may be imprinted.


Zerust VCI Paper is saturated with vapor corrosion inhibitors for robust protection of guitar strings in storage and shipping. The paper is pH neutral, acid free and non-abrasive. It is made from paper sourced from responsible managed forests and is fully recyclable.

Zerust VCI Envelopes can be made in many different materials, sizes, and printing options.

products that are fully saturated with vapor corrosion inhibitors.

Appearance: Typical colors are clear, yellow, brown, and green. Additional colors

available upon request. Subject to order minimums.

VCI Paper — Up to 1 year

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place and away from sunlight for up to 2 years.
